The Best Tourist Place in The World: Panchagar, Bangladesh.

The boundary line of Panchagarh district directed by Sir Cyril Radcliffe is very awkward.

 Neighboring country India is on three sides of this district. The current craze in Panchagarh. Kanchenjunga (656 m) is the third highest mountain in the world. Many people are going to Panchagarh lately to visit Kanchenjunga. 10/12 km to enter Tetulia last year. I had already started visiting Kanchenjunga by bus; It was flashing till about 3 pm. The situation was such that wherever I looked from there, I could see Kanchenjunga. But is Panchagarh anything to see except the view of Kanchenjunga? Yes, of course there is.

* There are two ways to go by train / bus.


Option-1: Many people do not know the name of Panchagarh station B Sirajul Islam station. There is a lot of harassment for not knowing.

Three trains come and go from Dhaka to Panchagarh.

▪Panchagarh Express- Departure time from Dhaka is 10.45 pm, reaches Panchagarh around 9 am.

▪Drutayan Express - Departure time from Dhaka at 8:00 pm, reaches Panchagarh around 8.10 am.

▪Ekta Express- Departure time from Dhaka is 10.10 am, reaches Panchagarh around 9 pm.

** All trains are delayed for some time to reach Panchagarh.

** Trains have no off days.

ঃRent: Elegant chair - 550 rupees, Snigdha - 1053 rupees, AC berth - 1892 rupees.

Option-2: Many buses run from Dhaka to Panchagarh including Hanif, Nabil, Shyamoli, Agamni. There are also direct buses to Tetulia from Dhaka.





Rent - 800 to 1000 rupees per person including AC non AC.

Depart Tetulia bus from Dhakkamara junction next to Panchagarh bus terminal. Rent - 50 rupees per person. If you are lucky, you will see the taste of Kanchenjunga on the Asian Highway, which we got last year. The Asian Highway is a buttery road.



#What_to_see_in_Panchagarh

▪Tetulia Post Bungalow + Kanchenjunga View Point + Panchargar Tea garden





Dakbanglo will rent an auto van from Tetulia. The river Mahananda flows next to the post bungalow. Although there are many view points to visit Kanchenjunga, it is best seen from here. Kanchenjunga is usually seen from the last week of October to mid-November. However, we got it in December last year. The whole of it depends on fate. Visiting time for Kanchenjunga is usually from sunrise to 11/12 in the morning. As the light increases, its appearance changes. Kanchenjunga can be seen in several forms. If you want to get a close view, you have to take binoculars. There is also a picnic spot in the post bungalow. Moreover, you are bound to be fascinated by the beauty of the river Mahananda.

▪Kazi & Kazi Tea Estate



Many of us have seen the hill tea gardens in Sylhet but very few have seen the flat land tea gardens. Panchagarh is famous for its flat land tea gardens. After visiting Kanchenjunga from Dakbanglo, take an auto / van and go to see the tea garden. This tea garden with a huge space. Tea garden on a flat land can be so beautiful, if you do not see you will not understand! Dr. Nazmul Haque started the tea garden in Panchagarh. On the way back from the tea garden, you can visit the orange garden.





Ananddhara Resort


This resort is next to the tea garden. Tetulia is such a beautiful resort on one side of Bangladesh, which is surprising to think. Your surprise will start from the gate of the resort. And when you see a lot of horses roaming inside the resort, you will think that the resort is really exceptional. Of course you need permission to dive into this resort.

Banglabandha Zero Point


The distance from Tetulia to Banglabandha, the northernmost place in Bangladesh, is 22 km. This 22 km road is very straight. The whole area around Banglabandha is occupied by grandfathers. From here Siliguri-13 km, Gangtok-133 km. If you want to take pictures at Zero Point here, you have to maintain the serial, people jump to take pictures.

Border Guard Paradeঃ


While lowering the flag at Banglabandha border at 5 pm, members of the border guards of the two countries performed various drills in the parade. The two countries have their own galleries to enjoy the parade.

Orcs Museum

There is a Rocks Museum on the premises of the Women's College in the city. This museum was established in 1996 by Dr. Nazmul Haque Sir. All the rare stones can be seen in the two open and open galleries here.

** Apart from these, there are also places worth visiting: the 400-year-old Mirzapur Shahi Mosque, the Maharaja's Dighi excavated 1500 years ago, five ghars, and many more.

If you want to stay in Tetulia post bungalow, you have to confirm in advance. DakBanglo Caretaker-01751026225. Moreover, there are several mid range hotels in Tetulia, Panchagarh. Some of these are Hotel Mouchak on Tetulia Road in Panchagarh, Central Guest House on Cinema Hall Road, Simantapar Hotel on the left from the crossroads in Tetulia. There is no problem with staying and eating.

# Cost


From Dhaka you can get around quite well for 2500-3000 rupees. If you are a budget traveler, you will also get less.

** Those who will go on a day tour they can visit Kanchenjunga from Dakbanglo in the morning → at Anandadhara Resort → in the afternoon they can visit Banglabandha in this way.
** Solo tour is possible.
** Winter is more prevalent in North Bengal, don't forget to take winter clothes.








Kanchenjunga. Name of a beautiful mountain range located in the Himalayas. Its height from sea level is 656 meters. It is the third highest mountain in the world in terms of height. However, until 1852, it was thought that Kanchenjunga was separate Keep looking. After a while you will see a lot of birds flying over your head, which are not commonly seen. After a few days of vacation with the mountains, with nature, with the call of the birds, you will be able to return home with full satisfaction.
